図書室の中の小学校project　卒業制作

伊勢田乃愛「本を読みたくなる学校を作るプロジェクト実践」 公立小学校では、老朽化が進む校舎の環境改善が課題となっています。 また、デジタル化の影響で子どもたちの読書離れが進み、図書室の利用も減少しています。 そこで、本研究では太田南小学校と協力し、デザインを通じて読書を促進し、小学校全体を図書室に見立てる活動を｢図書室の中の学校」プロジェクトと題して実践しました。 ロゴ、廊下の薄型本棚、イベントグラフィック、のぼり、グリーンライブラリー（上記写真）のデザインを行いました。 メインとなるグリーンライブラリーは廃材を再利用して制作し、小上がりに段差を設け本棚を設置しました。 この活動により、読書・学校生活環境の向上を図り、児童が本に触れられる場を創出しました。 Public elementary schools face the challenge of improving the environment of their aging school buildings. In addition, children are turning away from reading books due to digitalization, and use of the library is declining. Therefore, in this study, we collaborated with Ota Minami Elementary School to promote reading through design, and implemented an activity titled “School in the Library” project, in which the entire elementary school was made to look like a library. We designed a logo, a thin bookshelf in the hallway, event graphics, streamers, and a green library (see photo above). The main green library was created by reusing scrap wood, and bookshelves were installed on a small raised platform. This activity improved the reading and school environment and created a place for children to experience books.
